FPT Software to build a new home

On May 16, FPT Software officiallyground-broke the construction of a new building for its programmers living andworking in Ho Chi Minh City. The building would be built in accordance withlevel-1 standard with five stories and one and a half basement. It was expectedthat F-Town 2 would come into use on the 26^th anniversary of FPT, onSeptember 13, 2014, after fifteen months of construction.

The ground-breaking ceremony wasattended by Mr. Le Hoai Quoc, Head of Management Board of SHTP, Mr. Vu AnhTuan, General Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association; Ms. Truong ThanhThanh, Director of FPT HCM; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam, General Director of FPTSoftware; Mr. Le Truong Tung, Director of FPT University; Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh,Director of FPT Software Ho Chi Minh City and Project Director and more than 100guests and FPT Software employees in Ho Chi Minh City.

According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh, theF-Town 2 was being built on an area of 2,305.6 m2 with the total floor area of14,733 m2, where would be the working place for about 2,000 people at theHi-tech park in District No.9 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The new building is built as amodern campus, expecting to be a convenient office for about 3,000 people.

On behalf of FPT leadership, Ms.Truong Thanh Thanh shared that FPT Software was the fastest growing and themost sustainable member of the Group. “This is the fourth building by FPTSoftware in Vietnam to meet its development demand in the future” she said.

Mr. Quoc disclosed that since beinga member of the SHTP, FPT Software had been among the fastest and the mostprofessional enterprise to complete all the investment phases. “We highlyappreciate FPT Software’s determination to invest in large and professionalfacility despite such challenging economic condition. The SHTP management boardcommit to give the best support to investors in building facilities for theiremployees”, he emphasized.
