FPT Software to handover the Package No. 1 of the CMMi-5 implementation experience sharing program
Upon executing the cooperative agreement between FPT Software Joint Stock Company (FPT Software) and the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications regarding the handover of the document set to share its experience in building, applying and achieving CMMi-5 accreditation within the IT community, on 20th August 2009, the Package No.1 was handed-over to the IT Department of the Ministry at the headquarters of FPT Software in Pham Hung, Cau Giay, Hanoi.

The QMS (Quality Management System) document set which complied with CMMi-5 and ISO 9001: 2008 standards, including more than 2,500 pages, was developed and completed by FPT Software over eight years.
After the acceptance of this package, the Ministry will send notices to IT associations and enterprises. Interested organizations may directly contact the IT Department to receive a free soft copy of the document. .
This Document can be used by enterprises as a reference to understand how the requirements set by CMMi-5 and ISO 9001: 2008 standards are reflected clearly in the document applied in an organization. It also serves as a base on which enterprises are able to recreate their own document. In particular, they may utilize the templates of this Document.
This handover ceremony is the first step of the Program including three important handovers of: Document, Software system and Installation set. The remaining programs are seminars on CMMi and consultation activities relating to the use of the document and software.
As scheduled, FPT Software shall handover the Package No. 2 in November 2009 and shall complete the handover by the end of December 2009.
About CMMi 5:
CMMI is the abbreviation of Capability Maturity Model Integration. This is a procedure improvement mature model for the development of products and services. The model includes best practices relating to the development and maintenance of products and services from the requirement phase to handover and warranty and maintenance.
CMMI provides a platform on which software developers can continuously optimize their management quality and develop and distribute products. It is divided into five tiers equivalent to five levels of growth in software development.
