FPT Software’s high-ranking personnel changed
On October 25, 2011, FPT Chairman signed the Decision No. 112, 113, 114-2011/FPT/QĐ-HĐQT on designation and assignment of high-ranking leader of FPT Software. Accordingly, Mr. Hoang Nam Tien – member of Board of Directors, is appointed Chairman of FPT Software in replace of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam is appointed CEO of FPT Software in replace of Ms. Bui Thi Hong Lien. These decisions are validated commencing on January 1, 2012.

This is one step towards the OneFPT strategy lasting from 2011 to 2024. Current leaders of FPT Software are promoted to new positions to boost the corporation’s globalization strategy for core businesses. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam is appointed Project Director to develop Nigerian market, which is fully potential for information technology, telecommunication, education and trading. Ms. Bui Thi Hong Lien is promoted to senior assistant to FPT Chairman to facilitate and boost relationship with Japanese partners.
The new leadership of FPT Software is expected to help the company grow steadily and sustainably to meet customer’s requirements in keep pace with state-of-the-art technologies such as Cloud Computing, Mobility, Smart Devices,….
Mr. Hoang Nam Tien is an experienced leader, who used to keep critical roles in FPT Corporation. He has shown to be a successful leader, making huge contribution to the corporation’s earnings. He graduated IT engineering and always pays attention to new technology trends of the world. He has helped FPT to establish relationship with world’s leading technology vendors such as IBM, HP, Microsoft, Nokia, Oracle, Cisco, and Infosys for the past twenty years.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam has worked for FPT Software since its first day of operation. He used to keeps a number of important positions in FPT Software including Deputy Director of FPT Software Ho Chi Minh City (2004-2007), Deputy Director of FPT Japan (2007 – 2008), Director of FPT Japan (2009 – 2010) and Deputy General Director of FPT Software and Director of FPT Software Ho Chi Minh City. He also gets used to various professional areas ranging from production, sales, human resources management, quality assurance, finance, and technical solutions, moving himself to different locations in Vietnam, Japan and Malaysia. He obtained IT engineering and economics degrees in Germany and represents a strong will in catching up with new technologies to enhance his company’s businesses.
These changes reflect FPT’s desire to bring greater benefits to its clients, partners, staff and investors through the highest commitment by Chairman Truong Gia Binh and all the leaders of FPT Software.
