FPT stand among Vietnam's 500 largest firms

Vietnam Report has just unveiled the list of the 500 largest enterprises (500 VNR). Accordingly, FPT is ranked 3rd in the 10 largest private enterprises.
Along with FPT, this list also includes Doji, Vinamilk, Vic, Intimex Group, Hoa Phat, Sacombank, Saigon Commercial Bank, Asia Commercial Bank and the Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank. According to the preliminary statistics, the top 10 has total revenue of approximately VND 236 trillion.

The enterprises which were selected for evaluation have at least 51 percent stake privately held. According VNR, the business results in 2015 expected by 95% of the participants are basically stable and tend to increase compared to the one in the previous year, especially in terms of revenue.
Top 500 VNR continues to be dominated by the state-owned enterprises, accounting 59.4% of the total revenue. 15% of the large enterprises currently operate in the field of minerals and petroleum, generating 32.9% of total revenue, followed by the power sector (19%) and the banking and finance sector (10.3%).
Conducted by Vietnam Report, VNR500 is based on international standards and determined by several factors including profit, growth rates, labor, owner equity and total assets. This aims to honor the achievements of the largest enterprises which represent Vietnam’s business community in 2013.
The presenting ceremony is expected to be held in January 2015 at the National Convention Centre, Hanoi.
