FPT students conquer MOSWC
On 1-2 March, more than 20 FPT Polytechnic students in Hanoi, HCMC, Danang and Highlands will participate in Microsoft Office Specialist Competition World Championship (MOSWC) 2014.

Contestants will compete in three contents including Excel 2010, PowerPoint 2010 and Word 2010. After this examination, they can register for improvement in order to win tickets to the National Finals Round. In 2014, there are 174 teams from universities, colleges, vocational schools, high and secondary schools with nearly 1,000 examinees across the three regions to attend the contest.
The National Finals Competition is expected to be held in three cities of Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City on April 26. Three best contestants will become Vietnam’s representatives to compete in the U.S. in July with the participation of 109 countries and territories.
The Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) is a test to measure a candidate's knowledge, skill, and experience in managing and using the different MS Office applications and the Windows operating System. MOS exam is done online in more than 25 languages. In Vietnam, tests and curriculums are compiled by IIG.
Tests of MOS Word 2010, MOS Excel 2010 and MOS PowerPoint 2010 are taken in 50 minutes with 20, 18 and 40 questions in turn. To achieve international certification by Cetiport, applicants must reach 700 points.
