FU’s Rector Dr. Le Truong Tung and Dean of East Asia Faculty under University of Lodz Prof. Malgorzata Pietrasiak signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU). Accordingly, the two universities would collaborate in exchange of students and lecturers, research and training.

Polish ambassador in Vietnam Mrs. Barbara Szymanowska committed to giving as much support as possible to FU students who desired to learn in Poland. This was considered as a great opportunity as getting a visa to Poland meant that students were free to travel in all other countries under European Union. The Ambassador also promised to connect FU with other universities in Poland.
FU’s Rector stressed that in the context of globalization, creating opportunities for student to learn abroad had become an inevitable trend. FU also set a goal that each FPT student would have at least one semester abroad during their learning process. With its advantages in Europe, Poland would be a good choice for FU students. Mr. Tung believed that Vietnam had emerged as a destination for international students, including Polish ones.
