FPT Telecom give ‘Connection Scholarships’ to students
The Connection Scholarship Fund aims at giving support to students doing excellent academic performance as well as active social activities and enabling them to apply information technology to their study.

Until the end of 2013, FPT Telecom will present scholarships at universities in the field of Economics and Engineering in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. In the next years, FPT Telecom is expected to award scholarships at 25 universities in the areas where it builds its own infrastructure .
At each university, FPT Telecom will award two scholarships, each worth VND 47,100,000, including 5-year use of Internet services by FPT Telecom.
Applicants must be students of the universities among the list approved by FPT Telecom. A range of points including academic achievement, social activities and some other factors such as family background, progressive spirit may be allocated to evaluation criteria on a scale from 1 to 100.
FPT Telecom representatives awarded the first two scholarships at the opening ceremony of Advanced Program and High Quality Program held by Faculty of Business Administration under Foreign Trade University, on October 14, 2013.
Deputy General Director of FPT Telecom Mr. Hoang Trung Kien said: "Launching Connection Scholarship, FPT Telecom desires to help Vietnam students achieving excellent academic results be best facilitated to connect with knowledge in the world through FPT Internet services. After Foreign Trade University, FPT Telecom will give many scholarships to universities across the country."
