FPT Telecom inaugurated the fourth Data Center in Hanoi

FPT CEO Bui Quang Ngoc, FPT VP Chu Thanh Ha and FPT Telecom Deputy General Director Hoang Trung Kien cut the ribbon to launch the fourth Data Center by FPT Telecom.

The new data center of FPT Telecom is the first one in Vietnam to be certified with ISO 9001:2008 for quality management system; ISO 27001:2005 for management system and especially ISO 50001:2011 for energy management system, which is the first certification ever achieved by a service provider in Vietnam.

Tran Thanh Hai, Vice Manager of Network Operation Center of FPT Telecom said that the ISO 50001:2011 was the best commitment of FPT Telecom to energy-saving, environmental risk minimization and reduction of greenhouse gas emission.

At the moment, the company is completing the construction and upgrade of all four data centers across the nation, including two in Hanoi (one in the 6th floor at 48 Van Bao and the other in the 2nd floor of FPT Cau Giay Building) and two in Ho Chi Minh City (one is the Data Center EPZ 37-39A in Tan Thuan Processing Zone and the Data Center QTSC in Quang Trung Software Park).

A strategic cooperation agreement was also signed between FPT Telecom and BKAV at the launching ceremony. Accordingly, the two companies would support clients using services at the Data Center by FPT Telecom to prevent network attacks.
