FPT Telecom initiates 3 additional internet customer services

On February 18^th, 2008, FPT Telelecom Hochiminh City Branch officially introduced its new customer service “8100 - SMS reporting faulty ADSL line”. This new service enables customers to text FPT Telecom operators at 8100 when reporting a faulty ADSL line or troubleshooting, with FPT Telecom’s technicians reacting within 2 to 4 hours to assist/fix the problem.

Reporting procedures through 8100 are as follows:

• Customers report faults through 8100 at 1,000 VND per message, technicians will contact the customers ASAP.
• Wording: BH (For example, a customer in Hochiminh City: BH SG D123456)
• Reply message will contain the following: “The system have received your report. We will contact you shortly after. Thank you for using FPT Telecom.”

Mr. Nguyễn Hoàng Linh – Vice Director of FPT Telecom Hochiminh City Branch – says: “Reporting faulty ADSL lines by SMS through our 8100 switchboard is one of the two additional direct channels the company has allocated to our customer service endeavor, with a final view to increasing transmission stability. FPT Telecom will initiate new and additional services nationwide to improve the quality of our services.”.

Prior to this event, on January 18^th, 2008, FPT Telecom officially released the contact information (cell phone numbers, office land-line numbers, and e-mail addresses) of individual directors of each FPT Telecom Internet Centers Hochiminh City Branch on two websites: www.fpt.vn and www.fpt.net.

Currently, FPT Telecom Hochiminh City Branch’s “Advanced Payment” scheme has been in operation citiwide since January 30^th, 2008.

Participation in this scheme allows customers to save time paying monthly Internet fees, while also benefitting from promotional policies worth a minimum of 150.000 VND and a maximum of 27.000.000 VND.
