FPT Telecom launch Connection Scholarship for new school year
In September, six outstanding students of Northwest University (Son La), Quang Ninh University of Industry and Da Nang Polytechnic University received Coonnection scholarships. These were students who overcame difficulties to study well and gain good achievements in academic and non-academic areas.

"Connection Scholarship" Fund was established in October 2013. In the academic year 2013 - 2014, FPT Telecom presented scholarships to 14 students of seven universities in Hanoi and HCMC. It is expected that in the academic year 2014 - 2015, scholarships will be awarded to 50 outstanding students at 25 universities nationwide.
The Connection Scholarship Fund aims at giving support to students with outstanding achievements in academic and non-academic areas and enabling them to apply information technology to their study. Each scholarship consists of 5-year use of Internet services; 01 FPT Play HD and 5-year charge of FPT Play.
Applicants must be students of the universities among the list approved by FPT Telecom. A range of points including academic achievement, social activities and some other factors such as family background, progressive spirit may be allocated to evaluation criteria on a scale from 1 to 100.
The Connection Scholarship Fund will test scholarship quality annually to encourage students’ effort. To maintain their own scholarships, students must achieve at least 80 % of maximum score for scholarship.
It is expected that, in October, the company will continue to award scholarships in Thai Nguyen, Hai Phong, Dak Lak, Can Tho and Dong Thap.
