FPT Telecom puts Branch in Hai Phong City into oOperations

From October 1^st to November 15^th 2007, customers in HaiPhong city register for Fiber - To - The - Home ( FTTH ) service run by FPT Telecom will not pay installation equipment fee (valued at USD 1,000) but just borrow for services. The promotion New service, More joys on the occasion of HaiPhong City Branch foundation (October 1^st 2007). FTTH is a service dedicated to organizations, companies, banks and stock companies which are now in large use in Hanoi city with prominence: 100 Mbps upload and download capacity, stabilized transmission line regardless of bad weather, geography, electricity network. Particularly, the service is launched with reasonable price and various packages at different speed, ranging from 3 Mbps to 100 Mbps.

Furthermore, ADSL customers in HaiPhong city will get an offer: ADSL M odem free – monthly bills deduced. To cater different segments of customers in HaiPhong city, FPT Telecom provides different ADSL packages for families and young people such as MegaStyle, MegaYou, MegaMe... as well as packages for offices and companies such as MegaNet, MegaBiz, MegaOffice.

The foundation plan was started as late of May 2007, infrastructure, employees and network are all newly established on the base of market research and analysis. “HaiPhong city is a Central - run city; almost people are living in the urban. The young city is seething with high transactions, less bureaucratic procedures as well as favors offered by leaders of relevant agencies, so that will help facilitate investors in here. Currently, there are 36 employees in 5 divisions in charge of providing services run by FPT Telecom in HaiPhong city. The network is designed professionally with NGN capacity of 10 Gigabit/ second , DSLAM switches, using new ADSL technology ( ADSL 2+ ) with download speed up 20 Mbps, 10 times faster than normal ADSL .

Customers in HaiPhong city will get the best service provided by FPT Telecom. Customers’ orders will be processed and diverted to functional divisions to install service at customers’ places. The call center is connected by digital trunk to HaiPhong City Posts to ensure communications to avoid inconveniences for customers’ queries.
