FPT Telecom quickly launches IPv6 service

FPT Play HD offers content running on IPv6 platform.
On March 6, FPT Telecom met and discussed with representative of Vietnam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC) to plan and prepare for the IPv6 Day in Vietnam on May 6.According to Mr. Hai, FPT Telecom is ready to provide IPv6 services to meet customer’s requirement. The Company also launched the FPT Play HD with content running on this brand new platform. The product will be widely promoted at the exhibition booth in the IPv6 Day.
The IPv6 Day is organized in Ho Chi Minh City, expecting the attendance of 350 representatives from relevant ministries, sectors, Internet Service Providers (ISP), and manufacturers of security equipments and devices.
This one-day-event will cover discussions about the transition process from IPv4 to IPv6 by ISPs such as FPT Telecom, VNPT, Viettel, and Netnam and presentations by Cisco, Yahoo, and Akamal. Participating parties can exhibit their products which run on the IPv6 platform during the event.
