FPT Telecom sponsor ViOlympic
Following the success of "V-Olympic companion program" last year, FPT Telecom officially sponsors ViOlympic in academic year 2013 – 2014 and continues to deploy a series of companion programs for over 63 secondary schools in 21 provinces nationwide with a total value of up to VND500 million.

FPT Telecom will host offline games simulating test forms of ViOlympic in order to help pupils get accustomed to actual exams as well as improve such required skills as work group, fast calculation without calculators etc.
After the final entry winning rounds to be held in schools, districts, provinces and cities, students from all corners of the country will enter the national level contest. The national level contest is expected to be held on April 25, 2014 for fifth, ninth and twelfth grade students. The Ministry will set up a scientific council to design the examination questions.
The first program will be held in Phu Tho province on November 22, 2013 with the participation of students from Van Lang secondary school, Lam Thao secondary school and Phong Chau secondary school. Then, it will take place in provinces from North to South within 2 months (November 2013 - January 2014) namely Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Hanoi, Nghe An, Da Nang, Binh Thuan, Khanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh City etc.
At each local contest, teams will compete to gain prizes including the first prize for whole team worth VND 2.5 million, the second prize worth VND 1 million; the third place worth VND 500,000. Members of winning team will be awarded gifts of the sponsor comprising merits, shirts, backpacks and helmets.
In 2008, in response to “Promote IT application to education” scheme , Ministry of Education and Training along with FPT Corp organized the Math Contest via Internet named ViOlympic for primary and secondary students . By the academic year 2012-2013 , the number of participants in ViOlympic has reached 13 million . The contest has covered 673 districts and 61 provinces and cities nationwide.
