FPT to discuss the vision of Information Technology as the infrastructure of infrastructure

The Conference shall comprise three sessions discussing Telecom Infrastructure and Information Security; IT as an Industry and IT Application.

FPT is paying great attention to Information Technology as the infrastructure of Infrastructure.

The conference is organized as a conventional meeting in combination with video-conference (with connections to localities). The working session on “Development of IT infrastructure” is a good opportunity for experts, policy makers and entrepreneurs clarify and understand more the concept of “Information infrastructure”.

Chairman and CEO of FPT Corporation, Dr. Truong Gia Binh believed that this is an unprecedented opportunity for FPT when the state and the government have decided to promote the development of information technology and initiated the project “Vietnam to be a powerful IT country”.

In the forth summit meeting in January 2012, the 11^th Central Committee of the Communist Party approved the Resolution No. 13-NQ/TW on developing an equivalent infrastructure to turn Vietnam into a modernization-oriented industrial nation by 2020, in which Information infrastructure was considered an important part.

In July 2012, Minister of Information and Communication Nguyen Bac Son decided to launch the “Action plan to implement the Resolution No. 13-NQ/TW”, focusing on boosting the development of Information infrastructure.

This is not only an opportunity but also a challenge for FPT. FPT’s solutions for intelligent transportation, healthcare system and education will be the company’s answer to hot issues of the society now.
