FPT to implement e-Government system for Quang Ninh province

On November 1, Quang Ninh Provincial Party Secretary Pham Minh Chinh and representatives of state departments visited and worked with FPT Corporation. They provided FPT with requirements and problems facing the province.

The Secretary noted that FPT could start with two issues concerning the province including a proper plan to develop information technology and IT training especially IT polytechnic.

Explaining the reason for choosing FPT, Mr. Chinh said: “FPT has implemented successfully the e-Gov system for a number of cities and provinces across the nation. They also have a strong development strategy. We believe in FPT’s capability”.

He shared that this cooperation would help two sides gain their own objectives, in which Quang Ninh would apply successfully the e-Gov system and perform administrative reforms in the most effective manner and FPT would benefit from new working environment to train its staff.

FPT will send a team to Quang Ninh to survey and prepare implementation plan.

FPT also presented its software solutions for transportation, e-commerce, telecommunication infrastructure, and intelligent vehicles to the Quang Ninh delegation.
