FPT University’s training collaboration

In Hanoi on March 19, FPT University signed a partnership agreement on exchange with Kyushu University of Technology, one of 80 state-owned universities in Japan.

Under the agreement, FPT University and Kyushu University of Technology will cooperate in research, training; exchanging of professors and students in courses or already graduated, and publications and documents for students’ research and study.

The two parties have agreed to exchange students to study abroad for one year or less. Kyushu University will send professors to FPT University . In addition, each year five students at FPT University will receive a scholarship to study at Kyushu University .

Mr. Le Truong Tung, Dean of FPT University, said: “This cooperation program is in keeping with the tendency to train software engineers for the Japanese market.”

At the ceremony, Mr. Ryuichi Oguro, a Professor of Computer Science and Systematic Engineering in the Computer and Invention Department at Kyushu University , said: “The history of a university has nothing to do with the quality of training, but the university’s outlook does. I hold FPT University in high regard.”
