In preparation for the 26 April 2009 enrolment, FPT University will organize visiting tours and IT orientation courses for parents and high school students.

Parents and students at FPT University Enrollment Consultation Day

These events will provide parents and students with information concerning the 2009 enrollment program, notably about the new changes to the University this year. Students will also be able to find out about the upcoming test, take model tests. High scorers will receive prizes.

Visitors in Hanoi will be able to take a tour of the University (not applicable for the program in Hue and Quang Nam); listen to IT orientation courses and receive enrolment consultation advices; as well as query and make direct exchanges with the School Board about concerned matters.

Visitors will also receive testing instructions for the April 26, 2009 enrollment; receive software orientation booklets, find out information about scholarships, preferential credits and financial assistance programs for students.

Forecasts for 2009 are gloomy in the face of an economic crisis, many students and parents are worried about the prospects for IT human resource, future career of students.

In answer to this worry at an Open Day session, representative of FPT University said: crises are periodical and cyclic in nature. 2009 is a forecasted to be a difficult year for the world economy. However, as is the tendency, 3 to 4 years from now, the world economy will have experienced many changes and most likely taken a turn for the better. Moreover, the IT sector is also one of the less affected sectors by the current economic crisis (consumer product sector the most affected). This is evident as in 2008 and the beginning of 2009, FPT Software has been able to achieve good growth.

In Hanoi:

In Hue:

In Quang Nam:

Venue: Auditorium of the Central Region Youth Center, No. 226 Huỳnh Thúc Kháng, Tam Kỳ City, Quang Nam.
