FPT University and ANZ Bank cooperate on training

Jointly training adjacent staff of personal financial management under the MoneyMinded program was the main content of the partnership signing ceremony between FPT University and ANZ Bank (Vietnam) on December 1st, in Hanoi.

This collaboration aims to help FPT students strengthen their ability to manage personal finances.

According to the memorandum of understanding, 11 officers and lecturers of FPT University will participate in a training course lasting 5 days from December 3 to 7 in Hanoi.

After this period, FPT University can replace ANZ Bank to directly train students on MoneyMinded. The curriculum of the MoneyMinded program in Vietnam will use such real situations as how to spend limited amounts of money given by parents, how to plan for the future etc. The program will help students especially those who are about to go to work make right decision using and managing personal expenses effectively.

Earlier, in 2012, FPT University signed an agreement with ANZ and became the first university in Vietnam to implement a pilot basis of the MoneyMinded program.

MoneyMinded is a financial management program which helps students better manage money via setting term strategy to improve financial literary in the community. The program has reached out to more than 240,000 people worldwide since its inception in 2004.

MoneyMinded was first launched in Vietnam in 2012 and has benefited over 400 participants since then.
