FPT University announces results from first term
On June 9 a ceremony was held at the Cau Giay Cultural Palace to announce the results of FPT University’s first term. Excellent rankings were earned by 9.83 percent of students and 46.1 percent received a good ranking.

The first course at FPT University educated 295 students. In the first term students studied three subjects: Math, English and Philosophy. At the ceremony, 29 students obtaining excellent results were granted awards worth VND1 million each. Nguyen Xuan Minh, a student in class SE0107, was the best in the course and was awarded a laptop computer worth US$1,000 from FPT Distribution.
The university also presented the “Mo Dat” ( Finding New Land ) award to the volunteer group at the SOS Children’s Village, as part of encouraging students to be active in community activities.
Addressing the students at the ceremony, Mr. Truong Gia Binh, General Director and Chairman of the Board of Trustees at FPT Corporation, said: “Studying foreign languages is now a very important element of an education, and you should all take the chance to study foreign languages.”
Pursuant to Decision No. 49-2007 FPT/QD-HDQT, Mr Binh has also signed a decision to move the FPT International Institute into the FPT University on 1 July 2007 .
