FPT University established project team for ABET accreditation
FPT University’s rector, Mr. Le Truong Tung has signed the Decision No. 101/QD/DHFPT to establish a project named “Achieving ABET accreditation for FPT University” (FUABET for short)

ABET is one of the highest standards in education processes for training of applied science, computing, engineering and technology in the United States.
The objectives of the project are to help training units at FPT University to be accredited with ABET in a short period of time through main phases including:
- Study on ABET;
- Assessment of FPT situation in comparison with the requirements set by the standard;
- Recommendations and solutions to enable the University to meet these requirements;
- Invitation for ABET’s assessment;
- Achievement of ABET accreditation for units at FPT university.
The project shall be monitored by a board of supervisors to stay aware of the schedule. This board is responsible for reports to the Management board of the University.
The project supervision board shall make a plan and submit it to the Management board of the University for Approval. When approved, the supervision board shall execute as planned and report on the working progress.
