FPT University expands exam-exemption cases
In view of the 2008 National Mathematics Competition results and the recommendations and comments from leaders, teachers of high schools nationwide, the Admission Board of FPT University have decided to increase the number of exam-exemption cases and initiate scholarship reviews for runners-up (below 3rd place) of the 2008 National Mathematics Competition.

The admission criteria for FPT University dictates that 3rd place and higher students in the National Competition in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computing will be exempt from the entrance exam, and be eligible for full scholarship review.
However, there were no first place winner the 2008 Mathematics National Competition results conducted by the Testing and Quality Monitoring Department of the Ministry of Education and Training and only a total of 33 prizes for runners-up. Thus, to ensure rights and equality for the students, FPT University Admission Board have decided to expand full scholarship criteria for those runners-up students in the 2008 Mathematics National Competition.
By expanding its criteria for full scholarships, FPT University hopes to create the opportunity for students to grow. The university will create favorable conditions for comprehensive growth for those with ability, will and passion.
