FPT University launch NeoEDU Center
On January 22, the launching ceremony of NeoEDU Center under FPT University was held on the 13th floor of FPT Building in Hanoi. The event was attended by Director of FPT Polytechnic Dam Quang Minh, Director of FPT Technology Research Institute Tran The Trung and more than 50 employees of NeoEDU.

On 14 November 2013, Dean of FPT University Le Truong Tung signed a decision on the establishment of NeoEDU Center. Its tasks consist of designing information management system, building and mastering website system, developing online education products and services, studying theory and practice of educational technologies etc.
In the short term, NeoEDU will consist of 4 units including IT Department, Educational Technology Department, ViOlympic Department and Cyber University Project.
IT Department will develop information system for FPT Education . Educational Technology Department will be in charge of online training projects and constructivist learning method . Learners will self- construct their own knowledge without dependence on teachers . The center will provide a full range of equipment for lecturers and students .
All aim to build Cyber University - a new type of university based on high technology to help not only “online learning" but also “mobile learning". It is expected that the center will announce the first module on the new platform in September. It will promote the shift of learning method and use of technology in teaching.
In addition, the ViOlympic project with a large amount of young talents will also become a part of NeoEDU. Staffs responsible for developing this field will develop new learning methods, tuning study and examination into a general form on different devices.
