FPT University received Complimentary Note by the Ministry of Science and Technology

Vice Director Nguyen Xuan Phong received the Complimentary Note from the Minister of Science and Technology.

On behalf of the university, Vice Director of FPT University Nguyen Xuan Phong received the complimentary note at the Investment Conference in January 2013.

Beside FPT University, there are also four investors being honored including the National Satellite Center, Viettel Telecom, NISSAN TECHNO Vietnam Co. Ltd. and the Customs Team at the Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park.

At the conference, Mr. Phong expressed his pleasure upon the achievement of the university’s lecturers and students and the favourable conditions from the State in general and the Hi-tech Park in particular. He also listed and urged for early settlement of a number of issues such as environmental sanity, construction clearance and infrastructure system.

He disclosed that among 20 projects currently running in the Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park , the one by FPT University is the largest project in terms of area and the number of people served. In May 2012, the teaching and studying of more than 1,000 students officially started. The university’s essential facilities including classroom area, campus, Vovinam practice hall, multi-functioned physical training area, ice-skating yard, and canteen have been completed. The rest construction items expect to be finished in early time.

The Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park project is at the stage of infrastructure construction, attracting 68 project registration with the total value of 52,241 billion dongs, in which 20 projects have come into operation and 13 are under construction. In 2012 only, despite the economic downturn, the Park still attracted approximately 20,809 billion-dong- investment
