This signing of the credit transfer agreement was because Swinburne University has changed the name of the training course to Bachelor of Computing, and provided a new list of subject credits that can be transferred. The list will apply to those who completed the Aptech International Software Development training course in 2005, which reflects the most updated academic curriculum at the Aptech center.

With the credit transfer agreement, Aptech students wishing to obtain a Swinburne degree will save between A$3,000 and A$5,000. Conditions to be met in order to receive the credit transfer include having an average score of 70 per cent, an IELTS score of 6.0 with no skill under 5.5, or a TOEFL (paper-based) score of 550 points or more, with writing skills from 5 upwards, or a TOEFL (computer-based) score of 213 or upwards, with writing skills from 5.
