FPT University signs training cooperation agreement with Kyushu University of Technology

According to the agreement, FPT University and Kyushu University of Technology will cooperate in research and training, exchange of professors and students in courses or already graduated, and publications and documents for students’ research and study. In addition, Kyushu University will send professors to FPT University . Each year five students at FPT University will receive scholarships to study at Kyushu University .

Dean of FPT University, Mr. Le Truong Tung, said: “This is a cooperation program aimed at training software engineers for the Japanese market. FPT University ’s students and professors will be able to access Japan ’s new training programs and methodologies of teaching and studying.”

History of Kyushu University of Technology

Founded in 1907, Kyushu University is one of 80 financially independent state-owned universities in Japan . It consists of three colleges: the University of Technology , the University of Computer Sciences , and the University of Popular Science . The total number of students is 6,468, of which 157 are international students. Kyushu University contributes to society through its research and training.

History of FPT University

On 8 September 2006 the Prime Minister signed a decision officially establishing FPT University . Its mission is to help Vietnam ’s information technology industry to be as advanced as that in developed countries and to become a university of the new era with modern educational ideology, in which education, real life needs and human resources demands are closely related.
