“Happy Denmark” campaign kicked- off

This is the first time a Danish cultural advertising campaign has been created in completely new communicative media- website and mobile phone- aiming at applying state-of-the-art technology to popularize the information to young Vietnamese.

The campaign includes the website www.danmachvui.com , which introduces the state-level visit of Denmark to Vietnam, giving information on the Kingdom of Demark and its relationship with Vietnam and other cultural events to the youth.

A quiz is also created on the website www.danmachvui.com, offering winners tickets to watch the unique rock show in Hanoi, Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City.

The Rock show is expecting the presence of the most favorite Danish band, The Blue Van and the best rock bands of Vietnam including the Ngu Cung (Hanoi), Silent (Hue) and Unlimited (Ho Chi Minh City).

To make the campaign widely known, FPT Visky has placed introduction banner on its internal websites such as www.vitalk.vn, www.violet.vn, www.vimua.com, and www.vihuni.vn and integrated the campaign overview on the ViTalk chatting application.

“The first state-level visit of the Danish Queen, the Prince Consort, the Crown Prince and Crown Princess in this coming November 2009 is a good chance for Vietnamese young people to attend a number of cultural events, exploring the diversity of Danish fine art. The Danish Embassy would like to show its gratitude to FPT Visky to complete the www.danmachvui.com and this cultural advertising campaign. If succeed, Denmark shall apply this new advertising method to other campaigns worldwide”- said Danish Ambassador to Vietnam, Peter Lysholt Hansen on answering the press in the kick-off ceremony.
