FPT won Best Annual Report
On July 5, FPT Corporation's annual report was honored the Best Annual Report at the 2011 award ceremony. The award was jointly organised by HCMC Stock Exchange (HOSE), Vietnam Investment Review magazine (VIR) and the Dragon Capital.

FPT Corporation’s Vice Chairwoman Truong Thanh Thanh received the award
FPT Corporation has received the award for four consecutive years.Thirty seven out of total 650 annual reports submitted by the listed companies at HOSE and HNX were voted as the best ones. This year, the judges paid special attention to competitors’ business performance, financial statement, analytical ability and risk forecast.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Editor-in-Chief of the VIR said: “We would be interested in how transparent the information is rather than how well the competitors are doing their business”.
Seventy percent of the total 650 candidate reports met the competition’s technical requirements. “Given that the listed companies are facing challenges of the general financial crisis, their reporting effort should be highly appreciated”, added Mr. Tuan.
The award includes two grand prizes, seven prizes for the most outstanding reports and 22 prizes for the best reports. In addition, there are also six encouraging prizes for reports with good preparation, meeting reporting standards but not having an attractive layout
The fifth annual report awards will start judgement in March 2012, giving equal competing opportunity to all public companies listed in HOSE and HNX.
