FPT's SAP ERP meet international standard
On January 6, FPT IS along with the software company SAP announced the success of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution for Vietnam’s steel businesses named FPT.SAP iFESS (FPT SAP Express Steel Solution).

FPT.SAP iFESS is the first ERP solution package by an IT enterprise in Vietnam to be certificated by SAP Asia Pacific.
This SAP solution package was completed by FPT IS and SAP within 10 months (from December 2012 to September 2013). It is recognized to meet SAP’s standards by the Evaluation Board of SAP Asia Pacific. FPT IS was certificated and allowed to bring the product to the data warehouse in order that it can be accessed on global website of SAP.
FPT.SAP iFESS, including modules namely Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Purchasing and Inventory Management, Sales Management, Production Management, is known as a solution of IT application to management and operation of steel enterprises, which was built and packaged into standard process on SAP ERP product by FPT IS.
With FPT.SAP iFESS, FPT IS aims to shorten ERP development time for steel companies to only 18 weeks. Thereby, time and costs of businesses will be saved.
This solution is not only built on the basis of advanced technology and profession but also customized to fit needs of Vietnam’s steel enterprises or expanded for steel companies in other countries.
That SAP ERP solution for steel industry is certified to meet international standards will help globalization road of FPT IS be further extended with core markets such as Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia etc.
