FPT’s profit before tax in October 2008 grows at 48.5%
Together with growth rate in 3rd quarter of 2008, FPT Corporation continues to achieve good business results in October 2008, which forecasts a year of success on the way to 20-year development of FPT.

In October 2008, total revenue of FPT Corporation was over 80 million dollars, profit before tax reached 8.4 million dollars, increasing 48.5% compared with the same period of 2007 and exceeding 11.7% to planned.
By the end of October 2008, FPT’s revenue hit over 842 million dollars. Especially, in unfavorable condition of financial market and economy domestic and overseas, FPT not only kept growth rate of revenue but increased growth rate of profit before tax as well. Profit before tax of FPT Corporation reached nearly 61 million dollars, increasing 30.4% compared with the same period of 2007, exceeding 18% to planned and accounting for 82.3% of year planning.
FPT business results by lines also achieved well, in which leaders were still traditional business lines such as: Integration System, Software Outsourcing, Telecom, Education and Distribution.
By the end of October 2008, these business lines completed year planning of revenue at 86.5%, 71.6%, 85.3%, 105.4% and 85.5% relatively.
With positive business results in October 2008, FPT Corporation promises a successful year again and will hit the landmark revenue of 1 billion dollars this year.
