“Go Green” – 4th episode
Continuing the tradition “Keep doing it” – FPT Arena’s biggest annual activity – this year, FPT Arena in Ho Chi Minh City continues launching the exhibition “Keep doing it” the forth episode with the topic “Go Green”.

1. Purpose of the competition:
- Create a play yard for the young who have love for design & passion in creativeness.
- Encourage environment protection activities: Protecting water resource, atmosphere, animal – plant, natural resources, nature, human being, etc.
- Appeal awareness to build a lifestyle of nature harmony.
- Reflect individual’s point of view & consciousness of nature & environment.
2. Requirements for the works of exhibition
Board of organization will select the works of exhibition possessing the following requirements:
-The composed works have not been announced or exhibited in other places or events.
- New-fangled, unique in ideas & in the way of expression.
- Meeting requirements on layout, color, image, typography, effect.
- Meticulous, detailed & special in technique of expression.
3. Candidates who can participate in the competition: - All learners who have been students of the Multimedia Arts Education Centre, FPT Arena in Ho Chi Minh City (regardless of the school-year or class)- Universities, colleges students; high school pupils who love design & have passion in creativeness.
-Specialists in fine arts or those who are working in design & advertising companies are not entitled participate in this competition.
4. Types & specifications of the works:
1 . Printed type (hanging-type works)
- Poster, Print Ads.
- Printed size: 297x420mm.
b. Media type (motional & interactive works)
-Web: see on the screen – size: 1024x1080px
- Trailer, TVC, Animation Screen: 15’’, 30’’, 45’’.
5. Form of receiving the works of exhibition
- Writers send printable files size A3 to the email address: [email protected]
- Or directly hand in your works at:
Student Management Division, FPT Arena, Floor 3, CMC Plaza, 79B Ly Thuong Kiet, District 8, Tan Binh District.
6. Schedule of the competition:
- Date of launching: Monday, January 18th 2010
- Deadline for receiving works: March 25th 2010
- Exhibition time: 15th – 22th April 2010
- Location: Thanh nien House of Culture, No. 4, Pham Ngoc Thach, District 1.
7. Rights & Responsibilities
- The works to be exhibited must be created by the candidate himself, not copied or repaired from others.
- Copyright of the work belongs to its author, the candidate must bear all copyright disputes & the awards may be taken back depending on violation levels.
- Board of organization has rights to use the winning works if not self-interested.
- Board of Examiners has final decision on values of the works.
- Board of Organization does not take responsibility about copyright complaints in case disputes happen.
- Board of Organization has rights to use the works to the purpose of information, propaganda for the competition & the exhibition & other activities of Arena Centre.
8. Prize structure
- 01 first prize: 01 laptop Elead + Scholarship Coupon worth USD 500 from FPT Arena.
- 01 second-prize: 01 CPU M525 + Scholarship Coupon of USD 400 from FPT Arena.
- 01 third-prize: 01 Monitor LCD 19’’ + scholarship Coupon of USD 400USD from FPT Arena.
- 10 Consolation prizes: 10 StoreJet 160G
- Prize for the writings about Elead: a set of Computer valued at 7,500,000 VND.
- Apart from the above prizes, students of FPT Arena have other types of prizes (to be announced later).
- Students whose works participating in the competition will be given free coupon to retake any subject to improve the result.
- Students with works selected to be exhibited will get free coupon to take up one in any of the subject again.
