Granting “overcome the adversity” scholarship to hard up students
On 12th April 2010, with the collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City Student Assistance Center, FPT Online Joint Stock Company (FPT Online) has launched the program “Overcome the adversity”. Accordingly, FPT Online shall grant 72 scholarships to students who have lived and studied in hardship. The total value of the scholarship is 144 million Dongs.

The subject to the scholarship includes students of high schools and colleges and universities in the area of Ho Chi Minh city, who have had good will and worked hard to overcome life obstacles to perform well at school.
To participate the program, the students send their articles to the “study mirrors” on the website http://hotrosinhvien.vn/home/ to share the hardship as well as the dreams of themselves or their friends.
The articles can also be sent to [email protected] or by post to the Administrative Department, Ho Chi Minh City Student Assistance Center- 33 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, District No. 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The cover should clearly state: article to introduce “Study mirrors”.

The article should present sufficient and exact content and information on the character mentioned with the length of no more than 1000 words either written or printed. Basing on such information provided, FPT Online and the Center would conduct assessment and selection of students deserved for the scholarship. The name of three selected candidates will be introduced on the site http://tdk.gate.vn/Event/ChungTayViCongdong/
