Green light for FPT self-determining enrollments
On 15 November 2006, FPT University received two official documents from the Ministry of Education and Training, signed by Deputy Minister Mr. Banh Tien Long.

Official Letter 13183/BGDDT-DH&SDH, dated 15 November 2006, stipulates that FPT University is permitted to enroll 500 students for the academic year of 2006. The university’s proposal for examinations in Math and Logical Thinking (in Vietnamese) has also been approved by the Ministry. The examination will be held over 120 minutes and attendants will be those who received from floor points upwards at the national university entry exams, organized by the Ministry a few months ago.
Decision 6767/QD-BGDDT from the Ministry allows the university to train undergraduate software development technicians.
