Hai Phong prefer FPT to develop IT
On December 20, the People's Committee of Hai Phong City and FPT signed strategic cooperation agreement on ICT in the 2013-2020 period, marking a new step in cooperation relationship between the two sides.

Participants in this important event included Chairman of Hai Phong People's Committee Duong Anh Dien, Vice Chairman Le Khac Nam etc. For FPT, attendants were Chairman Truong Gia Binh, General Director of FPT IS Duong Dung Trieu etc.
This partnership aims to help Hai Phong City become an advanced model for application of science and technology, especially ICT to management and operation of economics, society, defense security in order to create a favorable business environment for organizations, enterprises and individuals and make Hai Phong city become modern industrial city by 2015.
FPT will make a master plan of e- government system focusing on the fields of e- Health, e-Customs, e- tax, IT area and high-quality ICT human resource training.
Along with FPT, Hai Phong Education and Training Department will develop the "e- school" model including application modules of academic administration, training, finance- facility, e-library, student information network, online training etc.
People's Committee of Hai Phong City agreed to support FPT in opening a vocational college in the city.
Besides, the People's Committee will facilitate FPT’s investment in Centralized IT Zone and give preferential policies for FPT to develop hardware and software industry.
