HCM FPT launch “For the Community” Day at flag-raising ceremony

This year, FPT selected the theme of "Give smile - Giving happiness". FPT staffs will join hands to bring smiles and bright futures to thousands of less fortunate children in Vietnam.

Ms. Truong Thanh Thanh, FPT HCM Director cum Corporate Social Responsibility Director, launched “For the Community” Day 2014.

In addition to raising the flag and singing the national anthem, FPT staffs working in FPT Tan Thuan building FPT heard leaders’ sharing about events, activities in the future. In particular, there are two big events including of the 24^th anniversary of the founding of FPT HCM and “For the Community” Day.

In 2012, with the theme of "Bring smile, ease pain", FPT organized 15 programs and gave 1,700 gifts worth more than VND 240 million to cancer patients.

In 2013, with the theme “Donate book, deliver dream", FPT presented 25 bookcases worth about VND 700 million and many gifts to localities across the country.

In many years, FPT staffs has done a lot of work for the society and for FPT employees with real actions, such as building and operating website www.violympic.vn for millions of pupils nationwide, launching www.vicongdong.vn Vietnam's largest volunteer website with 500 groups and 50,000 volunteers, presenting scholarships to children, gifted students etc.
