On July 2 at Ho Chi Minh City’s New World Hotel, HCM City Television and FPT Media held a press conference to introduce Finance-Market News, which debuted on the same day.

Finance-Market News is broadcast between 6pm and 6.10pm each day. From Monday to Saturday it provides the latest information about finance and markets, and on Sunday presents analysis and evaluation from leading analyst on the week’s most outstanding events.
Mr. Huynh Van Nam, HCM City Television’s General Director, said: “HTV has decided to cooperate with reliable partners - FPT Media and Bloomberg - to build a regionally-aimed program to meet the demand of professionals for information and the interest of a large number of viewers regarding general financial activities.”
The program is funded by the two prominent corporations in Vietnam ’s finance sector: Habubank and Bao Viet, the leading financial-insurance group in Vietnam .
