IBM and FPT Start Vietnam’s Biggest Computing Project
A meeting to start the Treasury and Budget Management Information System (TABMIS) project took place between FPT and IBM today. In attendance were leaders from FPT and the IBM Project Management Board. The Ministry of Finance will have a similar project management board to IBM under the terms of the project.

As subcontractor, FPT agrees to mobilize and control FPT’s resources effectively to complete the project, and to work with IBM. The parties signed up for the project on 20 March, and implementation will be carried out over a period of four years.
