Increased awards for Vietnam’s International Mathematical Olympiad team
FPT has increased the awards to Vietnam’s International Mathematical Team, which took part in the International Mathematical Olympiad 2007 in Hanoi recently, to VND30 million and other gifts.

FPT committed to increase the awards if Vietnam ’s team achieved high results at the Olympiad, with gifts including a laptop for those winning medals and VND15 million for the team as a whole.
The Vietnamese team recorded its best ever result at the Olympiad, securing third place overall with three gold medals and three silvers. FPT therefore increased its awards for the team by VND30 million. The corporation also presented Toshiba laptops worth US$1,450 each to the gold medal winners, Do Xuan Bach, Pham Duy Tung, and Pham Thanh Thai, and Toshiba laptops worth US$900 each to the silver medal winners, Nguyen Xuan Chuong, Le Ngoc Son and Dang Ngoc Thanh.
FPT University also presented 23 scholarships worth a total of $250,000 to members of Vietnam ’s International Mathematical Olympiad 2007 Team who participated in the Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and IT contests.
