International students to study at FPT University
41 students from South Korea, Nigeria, Cameron and Laos attended the first commencement ceremony on Sep.21 at the Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park in Hanoi. They have been the first international students to participate in the formal university program lasting 4 years by FPT University (FU).

They will be provided with the curriculum whose content is consistent with existing programs for Vietnamese students. In addition, international students will learn more about Vietnamese culture as well as participate in extracurricular activities and personal development programs.
That first international students officially attended its full-time university program lasting 4 years is considered a milestone in the efforts to bring Vietnam's high er education in general and FU’s one in particular to the world.
According FU Dean Le Truong Tung, creating an international learning environment in Vietnam is in efforts to equip students with globalization thinking and adaptability in multicultural environment, then contributing to enhancing competitiveness of Vietnam’s human resources.
In addition to the international admission, FU is promoting activities such as opening its facilities in foreign countries as well as strengthening cooperation with prestigious universities in the world to bring its students opportunities to participate in exchanges and short -term studies abroad.
In the future, FU will also request each FPT student to study a semester abroad to experience and grow in multi-cultural environment. Thus, they easily adapt to and work in any other country in the world after their graduation. According to FU’s statistics, 15 % of its graduates have been working overseas.
