Japanese Ambassador highly appreciates the program of 10,000 BrSE

"BrSE is an interesting program, helping distribute more Vietnamese talents to Japanese IT industry," stated Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Mr. Hiroshi Fukada.

On June 10, Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Hiroshi Fukada and CEO of Asia Evolabale Asia Sul Yoosa had a meeting with FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh. The meeting aimed to promote cooperation between FPT and Japanese firms in providing IT human resources, bridge system engineers and Japanese interpreters.

"In Vietnam, FPT gains an outstanding growth. In Japan, when it comes to Information Technology of Vietnam, they just think about FPT. Therefore, I want a meeting with Mr. Binh to share development strategy," said Mr. Yoosa.

Evolabale Asia was founded 3 years ago and has 500 employees. The enterprise aims to reach 10,000 people by 2020. However, according to the CEO of Evolabale Asia, the number of Japanese bridge system engineers and interpreters will not keep up with the HR growth of IT industry in this country.

According to Mr. Binh, the solution to the problem bridge was the program of 10,000 BrSE. This was one of FPT’s key strategies in Japan from 2014 - 2018. In 2015, FPT planned to train 500 participants in this program in Japan. Currently, 43 students went to Japan in April and nearly 120 ones in July.

Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Hiroshi Fukada thought that the program was a good strategy, especially in the context of shortage of high-quality IT human resources in Japan.

 According to Mr. Binh, the solution to the problem of shortage of engineers is the program of 10,000 BrSE.

During the meeting, Mr. Binh also shared about the application of IT in agriculture between Vietnam and Japan. Currently, FPT has partnered with Fujitsu in bringing IT into agriculture.

According to the Ambassador, two areas in which Vietnam has competitive advantages as IT and agriculture. In particular, the IT industry has high levels of intelligence, so Vietnam needs to invest in people. Besides, FPT and Evolabale Asia also exchanged views on the cooperation organized competitions Japanese language proficiency test in the IT sector.

This is the 2nd visit to FPT Japanese Ambassador in Vietnam since he took office. Earlier, during his visit in May 4/2014 FPT, the Ambassador hoped, with his position, he will try to push the relationship more intimate sides.

FPT officially established legal entities in Japan on May 11/2005, beginning the wave of globalization the group's second. Japan has always been considered the No. 1 important markets, bringing growth and sustainable stability for FPT. FPT Japan currently has 3 offices with the number of employees will reach 500 by the end of 2015.

In 2014, revenue from the Japanese market accounts for over 50% of the total revenue of FPT Software, equivalent to nearly 70 million. The goal of this year, revenues from the Japanese market grew 40% compared with 2014.
