Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam visited FPT University
On 22 December, Sir. Sakaba Mitsuo – the Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam visited FPT University and had a meeting with the students.

"Vietnam is one of the three largest partners of Japan beside China and India. FPT Corporation is the Vietnamese company who has most orders from Japan and the relationship with 30 Japanese IT companies, including big one like Hitachi” said the Ambassador.
He also mentioned a number of issues relating to the Vietnam-Japan relationship such as import and export activities and Japanese investment in Vietnam.
Specially, he brought an interesting talk themed “Vietnam- the strange nation in the eye of the Japanese Ambassador” to the students.
By his rich experiences and scientific analysis ability and straightforwardness, the Ambassador expressed his viewpoint on Vietnamese people: “you look like the Japanese in appearance but definitely different in nature”. His stories mentioned about the mindset, the teamwork ability, the attitude toward money; the problem of product fake and imitation; traffic issues and population structure. These are the lessons for the students to learn and adjust their behaviour in the future.
