The project’s initial phase, concluded in January 2007, included the successful installation and evaluation of transport, sales, output inventory packages by FPT IS.

During the project’s 2^nd phase, FPT IS will install 4 additional packages: Finance; Purchase Management; Inventory; Sales Management and Inventory for its headquarter operation and a branch in Haiduong. Project installation time is expected to be 10 months long.

Mr. Nguyễn Bá Nhọn, Deputy General Director of Lafchemco said: “The continuation of the 2^nd phase of the project in these difficult financial times shows the effectiveness of the ERP applications, as well as the commitment of the management in modernizing operations and improving the capacity of the management”.

The project aims to improve the effectiveness of business operations, improve production procedures and cooperation between different departments of Lafchemco through the application of information technologies, building integrated databases, and implementing ERP applications.
