Large-scaled TABMIS project successfully deployed
The first phase of widespread implementation of the TABMIS project in Quang Ninh, Hai Duong, Hung Yen officially started on 19th October 2009 with the simultaneous involvement of more than 80 implementers. This is the largest implementation ever seen in ERP projects by FPT. Within the framework of the TABMIS project, this is a significant turning point regarding the role of FPT in project activities.

On 7th November, this phase was completed. Parties finished the data comparison and close the transition month.
The results of the first phase of widespread implementation of the TABMIS project come as follows:
- 78 units (in the provinces of Quang Ninh, Hai Duong, Hung Yen) including the State Treasury (provincial/city, district, transaction center), provincial and district departments of finance were implemented.
- 492 staff in these provinces were trained on TABMIS system.
- In 4 days, the project team converted data for 39 state treasury ensuring the agreement between forecasted and accumulated balances before and after the conversion.
Successful implementation of the first phase of the TABMIS project is a milestone. Hereby, the TABMIS system will be officially implementation in mass within the period of two years to all units under the framework of the projects in cities and province across the nation.
Recently, the TABMIS project team is completing their direct implementation and support work in these locations and preparing for the next three provinces in the Central region of Vietnam.
About TABMIS project
· The project “Treasury and Budget Management Information System – TABMIS” is the most important component of the largest value among the Program of Public Finance Reform by Vietnamese government under the sponsorship of World Bank.
· The project was kicked off in 2006.
· The contractors team includes IBM-FPT-Oracle.
