Launching the first BPO joint venture in Southeast Asia

The JV is headquartered at the 10th floor of DETECH building (No.8 Ton That Thuyet, My Dinh, Tu Liem, Hanoi). Board of management includes CEO Nobuyuki Takeuchi as AGREX representative, Managing Director Le Thi Dieu Linh as FPT Software representative. Chairman of Members’ Council is taken over by Mr. Hoang Nam Tien, Chairman of FPT Software.

The JV has chartered capital of USD 2 million, 51 % of which is distributed by FPT Software and FPT Corporation and the remaining 49 % by AGREX and IT Holdings. F-AGREX will benefit from AGREX’s extensive experience in nearly 50 years implementing BPO services and FPT Software in managing large software projects and working with Japanese partners for the past fifteen years to deliver high quality BPO services at competitive cost in Japanese market.

It is expected that the JV will start providing BPO services with a focus on data entry professionals for Japanese businesses in December 2013. In the future, the JV will provide not only BPO services for Japanese enterprises but also a range of BPO-related services such as full service to meet needs of customers in Vietnam (an open market in the future) and other ASEAN countries.

The BPO-related services include:

- Data processing solutions;

- Maintenance and management of original documents;

- Solutions during Marketing process upon creating Home;

- Image processing in CAD ​ /CAM services;

- Solutions for sectors such as HR, salary, settlement etc.

- IT Solutions & Support such as data center or system monitor.

Managing Director of F - AGREX GLOBAL Mrs. Le Thi Dieu Linh said: "As providing BPO service for the Japanese market is a relatively new field in Vietnam, the joint venture is expected to focus on training human resources during the first year. It is expected that the company will reach $5 million in revenue and increase from 170 employees in inception to 700 one by 2016."

In recent years, that the Japanese BPO companies have exploited potential foreign markets and diversified forms of professionals makes the BPO market develop constantly. The Japanese firms with overseas investment activities make huge demands for BPO services. Consequently, need for Global BPO is increasingly expanded.

On the world market, the companies can focus on their own key professionals and reduce costs to promote business efficiency as having BPO in trust for Indian outsourcing companies. However, increasing competition between firms leads to strongly growing demand for BPO service as well as its quality.

The establishment of the JV is not only in the development trend of BPO market, but also in line with the strategic direction of both AGREX and FPT Software.

To gain higher growth, AGREX has been enhancing its overseas investment with a focus on Asia while looking for opportunities to deploy high quality BPO services globally. For FPT Software, BPO is considered as one of the new business strategies starting in the second half of 2012. FPT Software is also expected to create a growth breakthrough with BPO service. It’s the first BPO center in FPT Building Da Nang was established in November 2012.

AGREX JSC and FPT Software signed an agreement to establish the BPO joint venture F - AGREX in Vietnam on 12 March 2013. The JV was opened with the aim of implementing BPO services, firstly in the Japanese market. This is the first BPO JV of AGREX in Southeast Asia and AGREX will appoint the director.
