Lenovo become successful product of FCE in 2013

According to Director of FPT Center of Electronics (FCE) Hung Cong Hien, alone in the smartphone segment, Lenovo market share increased continuously from 1.7 % (in January 2013) to 5 % (in August 2013). In comparison with competitors in the same segment, Lenovo gains the highest growth.

Lenovo K900 is one of high-end products for Lenovo to be distributed by FCE in Vietnam in 2013.

FCE officially became the exclusive distributor of Lenovo smartphones in August 2012. Only in last 4 months of the year, earnings from Lenovo smartphones accounted for a very large proportion in the center’s revenue nationwide.

In Vietnam, smartphone market share continues growing rapidly. Cumulatively, in 2013, it made up 40 % of all mobile phones sold nationwide. This figure was nearly 20 % in 2012.

For Lenovo, two best selling product lines are A series and P series. Besides, the lines S and K in hi -end segment also win good feedback from consumers thanks to their strong configuration and many outstanding features.

FCE Director said that in 2014 the smartphone segment would continue to pass through popular items and creat e a fierce competition among firms which want to gain market share.

Mr Hien is convinced that Lenovo will keep high growth. It is expected that the company will introduce a series of new models with attractive designs and competitive features.
