Many new global contracts
In May 2009, FPT Information System (FPT-IS) has got 4 global orders from Freewill (Thailand), T-Systems (Singapore), WongPartnership (Singapore) and the Singapore Stock Exchange.

The project with Freewill will be deployed within 4 months, having started on May 04, 2009. FPT-IS will provide personnel to work with Freewill to support its client – True Move Company, Ltd., a member of the communication conglomerate True Corporation Public Company Limited. The project team will work in Thailand with the task of writing interface codes with other systems for the client’s Warehouse and Retail sub-systems.
T-Systems is a subsidiary company of Deutsche Telekom (Germany) with its head office in Singapore, and it specializes in providing ICT devices. Currently, T-systems is mainly using the human resources from India to outsource a part of the work. This is also the first project in which FPT has signed a contract to provide T-Systems with human resources to support their client - Brentag. The first phase of the project will be deployed within 2 months. The duty of FPT-IS is to cooperate with T-Systems to support Brentag in operating the SAP system and preparing necessary work to upgrade this system in the following phase.
FPT-IS will also upgrade the Microsoft Exchange 2003 system to Microsoft Exchange 2007 for the law firm WongPartnership (Singapore) within 52 days, dating from May 18, 2009. WongPartnership is one of the biggest law firms in Singapore with 230 lawyers. Apart from the head office in Singapore, this company also has an office in China and two offices in the Middle East.
In the project with the Singapore Stock Exchange, FPT-IS will change the Lotus Notes system to the Microsoft Exchange system with nearly 1,200 users.
