Miss Viet Nam Thuy Dung along with Chim En Journey give gifts of gratitude

On July 24, Miss Vietnam 2008 accompanied by Chim En Volunteers visited to revolutionary and needy families for tribute as well as burned incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs.

On the occasion of the 66th anniversary of the day for wounded soldiers and martyrs (July 27), Chim En Journey 2013 held an incense burning ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at Martyrs' Cemetery in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City after the visit to four needy families in District 7.

"It's such a happiness when all of you give care to us. The material gift helps our family ease difficulties while the spiritual gift as an encouragement promotes me and my children to try harder in life", said Ca Thi My Chau, whose needy family was listed in poverty reduction in Tan Phu ward, District 7.

According to the organizers, Chim En Volunteer Award desires to help young generation understand more deeply what contributions our ancestors made to national construction and defense cause through meaningful activities.
