More than 9.000 parents attend Parents’ Day

Hanoi, November 19, 2016 – In November and December 2016, FPT Software will hold Parents’ Day in 3 major cities including Hanoi, Danang and HCMC. It is expected that about 9,000 parents from 63 provinces and cities will join the event.

The first event took place with the participation of about 3,000 parents from 43 provinces and cities on November 11, at the National Convention Center, Hanoi. The events in Danang and HCM will be held on November 25 and December 18 respectively and attended by 6,000 parents.

 “Every two years we have the awesome opportunity to meet with the parents of all employees. It is the message of the event that I want to say to my parents: Mather’s hands and father’s shoulders have enabled me to stand up in life, and I will continue walking forwards because parents are always inside my heart! Parents are the origin of love, dreams and ideal of life. And we stay strong and overcome the daily challenges only to say to them that "I made it"! On behalf of corporate leaders, I would like to give thank to the parents who have silently contributed to the success of FPT Software today,” said Chairman of FPT Software Hoang Nam Tien.

Nearly 3,000 parents joined Parents’ Day in Hanoi.

With the theme of "I made it!", Parents’ Day is developed like an  employee’s story from childhood to adulthood. Parents wait on tenterhooks for their child's meaningful steps.

Parents’ Day of FPT Software was held for the first time in 2006 in order to pay tribute to employees’ parents. The company holds the event every 2 years in all of the three regions. In other years, the leaders send a thank-you letter to all parents.
