More than VND1.3 billion in aid for Central region
Just two weeks after launch, FPT has raised more than VND 1.3 billion in aid for people in the Central region. The entire amount of money will be disbursed in relief programs implemented from 7 to 10 November in the localities suffering heavy losses of life and property in the past 10th and 11th storm in Quang Binh, Ha Tinh and Quang Nam.

The objects of the programs include poor families, schools, needy students and especially FPT staffs’ difficult families directly affected by the floods.
Specifically, FPT will give VND 1.2 billion to extremely difficulty communes in Bo Trach and Minh Hoa district (Quang Binh), Thang Binh, Dai Loc and Dien Ban (Quang Nam) and Vu Quang (Ha Tinh). VND 288 million will be donated to 102 families of FPT employees in the provinces of Nghe An, Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam etc.
Besides, FPT will also coordinate with the Ministry of Science and Technology to give 100 million in some other localities.
At present, FPT’s volunteer groups are in the Central region to present gifts to people in the localities mentioned above.
