Mr. Hoang Nam Tien become Chairman of F-Agrex Global Members’ Council
In the afternoon of October 8, the joint venture F-Agrex Global held the first meeting of Members’ Council since the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of the BPO joint venture between FPT Software and Agrex in March. At the meeting, the members voted Chairman of FPT Software Hoang Nam Tien as Chairman of F-Agrex Global Members’ Council.

The meeting aimed at reporting the progress in the establishment of F-Agrex Global and related work such as opening a corporate account, contribution schedule, personnel structure, sales plans, potential projects and marketing plans.
Agrex is a member company of IT Holdings – the leading firm in Japan with extensive experience in implementing BPO services for 47 years. FPT has been working with this Japanese partner for the past eleven years.
On March 12, Agrex and FPT Software officially announced the establishment of the joint venture F-Agrex in Vietnam to deploy Global BPO. This is considered the first BPO joint venture in Southeast Asia.
F-AGREX will benefit from AGREX’s extensive experience in nearly 50 years implementing BPO services and FPT Software in managing large software projects and working with Japanese partners for the past fifteen years to deliver high quality BPO services at competitive cost in Japanese market.
Chairman of FPT Software, Hoang Nam Tien, emphasized: “I see this is a big opportunity for the immature BPO industry of Vietnam. The BPO’s requirement for large number of human resources can be addressed in the Vietnamese labour market once it receives appropriate attention from Vietnamese enterprises. The cooperation between FPT and the leading Japanese BPO service provider who has nearly 50 years of experience will explore a new way for the BPO industry of Vietnam, which can, at first, provide services for Japanese market and for global ones later on”.
