Nearly 2,000 candidates to vie for the third selection of 10,000 BrSE

The number of applicants for 10,000 BrSE program by FPT Software has significantly increased compared to the previous intake in February.

As of May 15, there are nearly 2,000 applicants for the third selection of 10,000 BrSE. 230 of them passed the selection round including English, Technology and Interview. In phase 2, the program attracted 1,300 applicants, 192 of whom passed the rounds and 127 ones met the conditions for visa.

According to the roadmap, students will complete requirements for visa and try to gain N5 Japanese certificate by October 2015.

It is expected that 127 students of the second intake will receive residence permit for visa. Candidates will go to Japan in late June for the opening ceremony on July 6th in Tokyo.

FPT Software will hold the launching ceremony in HCMC, Da Nang and Hanoi on June 8, 10 and 11 respectively, then, candidates of the 7th course will travel to Japan.

Students of the first selection went to Japan in April.

"Go Japan - Make it happen" under the program of 10,000 BrSE of FPT Software will be developed for the Japanese market until 2018. Accordingly, about 5,000 engineers will be trained in the form of oversea study in Japan. The remaining 5,000 people will join Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) Degree program by FPT University and the BrSE training program by FPT Software.

FPT Software will combine with local banks to lend trainees in Japan with tuitions and create the best conditions for them to work here with the minimum wage of 2,000 per month. Trainees do not need to prove financial capability. Also, FPT Software has partnered with Meros Language School in Japan to create a specific training program for them.

In 2015, FPT Software will take 500 trainees to Japanese in April, July and November. Recently, the company ran the first course with 43 trainees on 6 Jun.

In 2014, revenue from the Japanese market reached nearly USD 70 million, accounting for over 50% of the total revenue of FPT Software. This year, revenue from the Japanese market is expected to increase by 40% compared with 2014.
